The PacPro Vertical Carton Packing Line

The PacPro Vertical Carton Packing Line
The PacPro Vertical Carton Packing Line is a group of machines which together, automatically erect and bottom seal the RSC style carton, provide a manual product loading station for a number of operators and an automatic top sealer.
The Erector used is the PacPro AEV positive opening machine capable of handling RSC style cartons of both standard and shelf ready design.
The Loading Station is the PacPro MCA product conveyor fitted with an inclined gravity roller deck to support the cartons at an inclined angle to assist loading and to carry the carton between operators from the Erector to the Sealer. The standard version has space for three operators, one at the Erector end, to remove the erected carton from the Erector outfeed, place it on the roller deck, load some product and move it to the middle operator, who will load more product and move the carton to the third operator, who will complete loading and move the carton to the Sealer infeed where it sits flat on the infeed belt and feeds into the Sealer.
The Sealer is the standard top sealing PSV, fitted with a gravity roller outfeed conveyor, from which the finished cartons can be manually loaded onto a pallet.
The product handling area suits all product types, bags, boxes, bottles, tubs, trays etc., the advantage for companies just moving into packaging automation being that no change parts are required and the line can quickly move from one product to another. The three machine items are fitted with lockable castors to allow movement of the line from one production area to another. Manual carton loading allows the packing pattern to be of any required layer pattern and single or multi-layer..
